Since discovering Avocado Smoothies I’ve been making them a lot more frequently. The added richness of the avocado really takes your smoothie game to another level! Today I decided to add a little more greenery to the mix and see if Elowyn would still approve of a snack time smoothie bowl. As you can see project “eat your greens” was a success! How could she not like it when it tastes like a sweet summery escape.
Recipe Makes 2 cups of a Booster Juice consistency smoothie.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup Frozen Diced Avocado
- 1/2 Cup Diced Strawberry
- 1 Banana
- A Handful of Baby Spinach
- 1/2 Cup Pineapple Juice
- 1 Cup 2% Milk (or Cashew Milk)
Directions:
Combine ingredients and blend for 1 minute or until smooth. If you’re not using any frozen fruit you may want to add a few ice cubes.
Not a Big Smoothie Fan?
This recipe also tastes great slightly chilled and topped with fresh fruit the way Elowyn enjoyed it, like a healthy frozen yogurt bowl.
Adorable!😋

We just made a smoothie bowl for brekkie this morning! How serendipitous to find this post right after!
Now, I love that your “greens” don’t turn your smoothie green – I cannot drink green drinks …I’ve tried. But since your cutie loves it, I think I will give this one a try!

so cute! I keep my spinach in the freezer for my smoothies. it doesn’t get that slimy mouthfeel that you get if the fresh isn’t chopped up enough. it pretty much breaks down to nothing quickly

Great tip! I’ll do that next time (=
